What type of device can be used to access the online meet program and results?

Any smarphone, computer, tablet, or iPad that has a web browser and an active Internet connection.

What equipment does the team need to use SplashLane at their meet?

A laptop with Hy-tek Meet ManagerTM and an active Internet connection, including Wi-Fi.

What if the team doesn't have Internet access at pool side during the meet?

Most smartphones can be 'tethered' to the laptop to provide Internet access.  Some smartphones even have built in Wi-Fi hotspot capabilities.  For more info on tethering see: http://www.junefabrics.com/ http://www.ehow.com/how_4480859_tether-cell-phone-internet-laptop.html It is also possible to rent a cellular broadband usb modem for around $10 a day.

Is there an app I can download onto my smartphone?

Not yet, but we plan to have apps available for most smartphones in the near future.

If I purchase access to a meet, can I acess it from more than one device?

No.  The access you purchase is locked to the device you used to purchase meet access on.  Since this is a fundraiser for the host team, the ability to share purchased access codes would defeat the teams' pursuit of fundraising.

What timing systems will work with the SplashLane software for realtime updates?

Currently we can get realtime updates from Daktronics Omnisport 2000TM controllers using the RTD port.  We are working on interfacing with OmegaTM, ColoradoTM, and ISTTM systems as well.  If you don't have a Daktronics system, you can still update the SplashLane meet results using Meet ManagerTM.
